The shell of the bucket is constructed with 3/16'' thick bent steel, on which a 6-inch x 1-inch thick carbon steel attack blade is welded.
Hardox 450 high-strength steel is used in areas where materials are highly stressed by abrasion, such as:
- The double curved bottom
- Wear rails under the bucket.
3/8" thick wear reinforcements have been welded to prevent wear on the sides of the bucket.
The design of the bucket is tapered to facilitate the removal of material.
Our skid steer buckets are equipped with bolt-on side wear knives at each lower front corner that are easily replaceable.
-The BSS models have the following specificities: they are equipped with a reversible multi-section bolt-on knife with a width of 8 inches by ¾ of an inch thick. They are ideal for finishing work or for cleaning concrete or asphalt surfaces.
-BSSD models are equipped with adapters welded to the main knife to accommodate replaceable teeth made of forged steel type 230TF. These buckets excel in coarser excavation work. They are used to grind the soil to facilitate the extraction of the material.
