Electromechanic / Electrical engineering or automation technician
Manufacturing environment – Bas-Saint-Laurent
Versatile technical profile to support the reliability and development of our automated equipment fleet. Whether you are an electromechanic or an electrical engineering / automation technician, your expertise will directly contribute to the performance of our operations.
Your role:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues
• Work on automated systems (sensors, drives, PLCs – depending on profile)
• Participate in optimization and continuous improvement of installations
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and control logic
Desired profile:
• Vocational diploma (DEP) in electromechanics or college/vocational diploma (DEC/DEP) in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Technical diagnostic skills (electrical, mechanical, or automation)
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) (strong asset)
• Autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to respond effectively in breakdown situations
