Internal Sales Representative

An essential pillar in supporting the sales team and contributing to the achievement of common objectives, the Internal Sales Representative acts proactively and deploys sales strategies, whether dealing with incoming prospects or identifying new potential clients. The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Identifying new sales opportunities: following up on incoming prospects and making outbound cold calls.
  • Analyzing the market to identify new potential clients.
  • Surveying the interests, needs, and satisfaction of target groups regarding the quality of the company's products and services using virtual tools.
  • Sharing qualified opportunities with sales representatives for development and closure.
  • Prospecting new clients, identifying decision-makers, and creating the need.
  • Maintaining and developing the prospect database through CRM.
  • Participating in the complete sales cycle until closure.
  • Working as a team with salespeople to build a pipeline of new prospects.
  • Conducting effective online demonstrations with prospects.
  • Following up with existing customers and maintaining relationships with them.
  • Generating new sales from existing customers or new clients.
  • Writing quotations.
  • Contributing to the implementation of marketing initiatives and tactics aimed at increasing sales, visibility, and brand awareness through various channels (web, social media, traditional channels).
  • Collaborating with and supporting sales and marketing teams to implement sales activities and track performance.
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales report data (CRM and dashboard).
  • Identifying and exploring competing activities.
  • Creating content and deploying it via social media, the website, newsletters, and campaigns to generate leads.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in sales representation or industrial sales.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an internal sales role.
  • Knowledge in the sale of heavy equipment or machinery.
  • Success in achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (bilingual).
  • Mastery of sales strategies to close deals with clients.
  • Proactivity and initiative-taking to contribute to goal achievement.
  • Resilience and perseverance.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work in a multichannel environment (social media, web, direct sales).
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team.
