Mechanical assembler

Contribute directly to the final assembly and quality of Cotech equipment.

Cotech is looking for a detail-oriented and versatile professional to participate in the final assembly of equipment for the agriculture, snow removal, and construction industries. Your work will help ensure reliable, properly adjusted products that meet technical specifications.

Your role

• Assemble mechanical and hydraulic units according to plans and instructions;
• Prepare, verify, and organize the materials required for assembly;
• Perform tightening, basic greasing, and final adjustments;
• Read and interpret plans, measurements, and assembly instructions;
• Safely use manual and pneumatic tools as well as authorized handling equipment;
• Perform quality checks and follow required checklists;
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.

The profile we are looking for

• Vocational diploma or related training in mechanics, assembly, or a relevant field;
• Good physical condition and strong manual skills;
• Punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail;
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• Strong interest in manufacturing;
• Successful completion of a hiring test.

Experience

The following qualifications are considered assets:

• Experience in mechanical or hydraulic assembly;
• Experience reading technical drawings and plans;
• Experience using manual and pneumatic tools;
• Experience operating an overhead crane or forklift;
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
