Painter by powder coating

Contribute directly to the quality and durability of Cotech products.

Cotech is looking for a detail-oriented and versatile professional to handle the preparation, application, and inspection of electrostatic powder coating. Your work will directly contribute to achieving a uniform, durable finish that meets Cotech’s high quality standards.

Your role

• Prepare parts, including cleaning and organizing batches for painting;
• Apply electrostatic powder coating while meeting thickness, uniformity, and performance requirements;
• Adjust, calibrate, and maintain painting equipment, including electrostatic spray guns, ovens, and conveyors;
• Perform start-up inspections and record required quality controls;
• Optimize powder usage to reduce waste while maintaining a high level of finish quality;
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment;
• Support team versatility by assisting in other production areas as needed.

The profile we are looking for

• Good physical condition and a strong interest in hands-on work and manufacturing;
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and consistency in following processes;
• Ability to adapt and solve technical problems;
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support different areas of production;
• Successful completion of a hiring test.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial painting;
• Experience with electrostatic powder coating is strongly preferred;
• Experience with automated or robotic equipment is considered an asset;
• Knowledge of industrial coating preparation, application, and quality control processes.
