Senior machinist on digital control

Contribute directly to the precision, quality, and performance of Cotech’s machined parts.

Cotech is looking for an experienced machinist to prepare, set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment. Your expertise will help produce accurate parts that meet technical drawings and required tolerances while continuously improving machining methods and efficiency.

Your role

• Prepare, program, set up, and operate CNC machining centers;
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders;
• Set up and adjust tooling and machining parameters;
• Produce and inspect parts to ensure required tolerances are met;
• Make adjustments and corrections during production;
• Optimize machining programs and methods;
• Mentor and support less experienced machinists when required;
• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

The profile we are looking for

• Vocational diploma in machining or equivalent experience;
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant CNC machining experience;
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and CNC programming;
• High level of precision, attention to detail, and autonomy;
• Strong technical problem-solving skills;
• Good organizational and teamwork skills.

Experience

Experience with several of the following types of equipment is considered a strong asset:

• Mazak 3-axis;
• Takisawa 5-axis;
• Manford 5-axis with 14-foot table;
• Hyundai / Daewoo 4-axis;
• Femco boring mill;
• Conventional machining equipment.
